Urban Decay Basic 2 palette

I was beyond excited when I heard about Urban decay launching a Naked Basic 2 Palette and after getting my hands on it , its even better than the first Basic Palette .The same as the first palette there are six great matte neutral shadow (No shimmer present at all!) with great pigmentation but the only difference is this time the shades are all cool tones and consist of taupe , grey and brown which work great together to create a soft nude sultry, smokey eye.Like all urban decay shadows they blend seamlessly like butter or anything else soft or smooth .The only down side is that I find with the eyeshadows in the first and second basic  palette there is really bad fall out with the eye shadow .

The palette itself looks very similar to the original palette just slightly lighter shade packaging but with the same size packaging and the same large mirror which make this great for traveling and on the go.Not only does the packaging look similar but some people would look at the packaging and say THEY ARE THE SAME but when you actually look at them there have differences one is warm toned neutral and the other is cool toned neutral but the the fact they most consist of neutral make them great for all skin tones .

None of these shades are similar which is a big thing i look for in a palette because who wants a palette with basically all the same shades ( NOT ME ).

 - Skimp is a pale nude with satin finish
- Stark is a pinky nude with a matte finish
- Frisk is a light grey shade with a matte finish
- Cover is a brown with red undertones and matte finish a grey shade to warm up the complection
- Primal is a medium brown with matte finish
- Undone is a deep brown with matte finish

My favourite thing about this palette is there is great shades in there to fill in your eye brows so it makes it easy to reduce the makeup you have to take on the go with you .
